Ginger.                                                             10 -15 gm
Garlic.                                                              10-15 gm

Cooking method of Aloo gobhi ki subji.

1.wash cauliflower & potatoes properly.
2.cut cauliflower & potatoes into small pieces.
3.finned chopped onion.
4.make a paste of tomatoes,Ginger, garlic, green chilli.
5.heat ghee in a pan & add cumin seeds fry until cumin seeds become crumbley.
6. add finned chopped onion &fry till golden colour.
7.add tomatoes,garlic,ginger,green chilli paste mixed well all ingredients & cook 3-4 minutes.
8.add turmeric pwd,corriandor pwd,red chilli Pwd,salt mixed all ingredients properly.
9.add 1-2 cups of water & cook 2-3minutes on medium heat.
10.add potatoes,cauliflower cubes into gravey and cook 10-12 minutes on medium flame.
11.add garam masala & garnish with corriandor leaves.
12.serve hot with chapatis,Pranthas .

Kidney beans (Rajma).                                 125-150gm
Tomatoes.                                                      2-3 medium

Green chilli.                                                    5-6
Ginger (finned chopped).                               1-2 tsp
Garlic (finned chopped).                                1-2 tsp
Ghee/oil.                                                         2-3 tsp

Asafoetida.                                                     1-2 pinch
Turmeric pwd.                                                1 tsp

Cooking method of kidney beans (Rajma) curry.

1.soak the kidney beans in water 9-10 hours. Wash them put into pressure cooker.
2.add 2-3 cups water,1-2 pinch edible soda& salt 1 tablespoon.
3.cover the pressure cooker & cook kidney beans on medium flame 8-10 minutes.
4.make a paste of ginger, garlic,tomatoes,green chilli.
5.heat ghee or oil in a pan, add cumin seeds & fry until they become crumbley.
6.add finned chopped onion & fry till golden colour.
7.add tomato, Ginger,garlic,green chilli paste into it & cook 2-3 minutes.
8.add turmeric pwd,corriandor pwd,Red chilli powder,garam masala.
10. add kidney beans into gravey.
11. add lemon juice & water (for thickness) into gravey.
12. Mix all ingredients together very well & cook 10-15 minutes.
13.add garam masala.
14.garnish with corriandor leaves.
15. Serve hot with chapatis, Pranthas,Rice

13.now your mixed vegetables has become soft.
14.add garam masala & garnish with corriandor leaves.

Cooking method of mix spicy (Panchmale)dal.

1.wash all dal properly.
2.soak all dal for 30-45 minutes & drain.
3.mix all dal's properly.
4.take a pressure cooker, &add All dal's 3-4 cup water, some salt & turmeric pwd and boil it 3-4 cookeer whistle.
5.allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
6.Heat ghee/oil in a PAN.
7.add cumin seeds & fry 1 minute on medium flame.
8.add finned chopped onion & fry till golden colour.
9.add add ginger,garlic,tomato (finned chopped)mix well & fry 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
10.add garam masala,corriandor pwd.,Red chilli powder,green chilli,corriandor pwd,&salt.
11.add curd & mix all ingredients well together.&cook 2-3 minutes.
12.add boiled mix dal's into gravey & mix them all well.
13. Again cook Dal's 4-5 minutes on slow flame.
14.Now mix spicy (Panchmale)dal is ready, garnish with corriandor leaves.

6.Add cumin seeds and hing fry till brown colour.

7. Add tomatoes,ginger,garlic,green chilli paste & cook 4-5minutes
8.Add turmeric pwd,asofotida,far am masala,coriander pwd,
9.Add boil potatoes
10.mix all ingredients together
11.Add some water(as how much you require)
12.now aloo tamatar subji is ready.
13.Garnish with green corriandors leaves.

How to make Aloo Bread Pakora at home.

In this post I will tell you how to make Aloo bread pakora 

Ingredients for Making Aloo Bread Pakora

  • Gram flour - 1cup
  • Bread - 4
  • Potato - 3(boiled)
  • Green coriander -1- 2tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Ginger paste - 1/2tsp or grated
  • Green chilly - 1-2 (minced)
  • Salt - 1/2tsp or as per taste
  • Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1/4tsp
  • Turmeric powder - less than 1tap
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1tsp
  • Oil - for frying

How to make Aloo Bread Pakora

Take gram flour in any big bowl. Add half the amount of salt and red chilly powder. Add water little by little and prepare a batter. 
Prepare stuffing:
Preheat a pan and add 1 tbsp oil into it. Peel and mash potatoes. When oil is sufficiently hot, add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, green chilly and ginger paste into it. After sauteing for while add coriander powder, potato, mango powder, red chilly powder, garam masala, salt and green coriander and mix everything really well. Saute for 2 minutes. 
Stuffing is ready, take it out in a plate and allow it to cool. 
Preheat oil in a pan. Take a bread slice, layer stuffing over it and place another slice over it. Press it very gently and seal. Cut bread into two pieces, giving it a triangular shape.

How to make kadi

In this post I will tell you how to make curry.

Ingredients for Besan Pakoda Kadi

  • Gram Flour - 100 gms. 
  • Sour Yogurt - 200 gms. 
  • Oil - 1 table spoon.
  • Heeng - 1-2 pinch
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Fenugreek seed (methi seeds) - 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Red chilli powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
  • Salt - 1/2 tea spoon or according to the taste. 
  • Green chilli - 2 or 3 (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves - 1 table spoon (chopped)
  • Oil -  to fry pakodas.

Method - How to make Besan Pakoda Kadi

Sieve the gram flour in a bowl and make a thick batter by adding water to it. Whisk the batter continuously and divide the batter into 2 equal parts.

How to make batter for the Kadhi.

Whisk the curd and take it out in a bowl. Put the other part of the gram flour batter into the curd and mix it well. Add 1.2 ltrs. water into the mixture and mix well. Heat 1 table spoon oil in a pan and tamper the cumin seeds, heeng and funegreek seeds into it. Once the cumin seeds turns brown, put turmeric powder, red chilli powder, green chilli and the curd-flour batter into the pan. Stir the mixture continuously till it gets thick and starts to boil. Once the kadhi starts to boil put all the pakodas into it and mix them well with the help of a spoon. Add salt to the kadhi once it again starts to boil. Now stop stirring the kadhi continuously with the spoon. Let it cook on a medium flame for 12-15 minutes. But do not forget to stir the kadhi after every 2-3 minutes. After a while you will see gram flour cream appearing on the corners of the pan over the kadhi. This means your Besan Pakoda Kadhi is ready.
Punjabi Kadi with Pakora is ready. Take it out in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve the Kadhi Pakoda recipe with chapatis, naan or rice.


How to make masoor ki Dal at home

masoor dal - simple and easy dal recipe made with pink lentils. goes well with roti or rice.

ingredients (measuring cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 1 cup masoor dal or pink lentils
  • 3 cups water for pressure cooking the dal
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or as required
  • 1 medium sized onion, chopped1 medium sized tomato, chopped
  • 4-5garlic, crushed or finely chopped (lahsun)
  • 1inch ginger, finely chopped (adrak)
  • 4-5green chilies, chopped or slit (hari mirch)
  • 2 -3 red chilies, whole (sabut lal mirch)
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1 tsp or ½ red chili powder 
  • a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  • 1or ½ tsp garam masala powder 
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves (dhania patta)
  • 1tsp kasuri methi/dry fenugreek leaves, crushed (optional)
  • 2-3 cups water or as required
  • 4-5tbsp oil or ghee
  • 2tbsp chopped coriander leaves for garnishing (optional)
  • salt to taste.
how to make the recipe:
  1. pick and rinse the dal well.
  2. pressure cook the masoor dal with 3-4cups water, till they become soft and mushy.
  3. the dal also can be cooked in a pot.
  4. just soak the dal for 30-40 minutes, so that they cook faster if cooking in a pot.
  5. adjust the quantity of water as required
  6. when the dal is cooked, beat with a wooden spoon or wired whisk lightly.
  7. keep the cooked dal aside.
  8. in another pan or pot, heat oil or ghee. fry the cumin seeds till browned.
  9. then add onions and fry till they are golden colour.
  10. add chopped ginger and garlic. stir and fry for 10-15 seconds.
  11. add green chilies and red chilies. stir.
  12. add all the dry spice powders one by one including asafoetida and stir.
  13. add the tomatoes and fry till the oil separates and the tomatoes become soft.
  14. add the cooked dal. pour 3 -4 cups water. you can adjust the quantity of water as required.
  15. add salt and stir. simmer the masoor dal for 8-10 minutes more on a low or medium flame till you get the desired consistency.
  16. this dal is neither thick nor thin and has a medium consistency.
  17. lastly add kasuri methi and simmer for 1 minute.
  18. towards the end add lemon juice and 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and stir the masoor dal.
  19. serve masoor dal hot with steamed basmati rice or roti or chappati.
  20. you can also garnish masoor dal with coriander leaves if you want while serving the dal.

How to make Basmati Rice kheer at home.

In this post I will tell you cooking method & receipe of basmati rice kheer for 4-5 people.

6.Now add kaju.
7.add badam(fine chopped)

9.add makhane
10. add elachai
11. add sugar
12.now boil 3-5minutes again.
Now Basmati Rice kheer is Ready you can taste it.
Serve hot kheer. You can also eat kheer when it is cold

                           Ingredients for  Potato&Loki vegetable.
Ingredients.                             Quantity

Fresh Loki                              1 kg
Potatoes.                                 500 gm
Tomatoes                                100 gm
Onions.                                    100 gm
Ginger.                                     50gm
Garlic.                                      50gm
Green chilies.                          2-3
Turmeric.                               Half tablespoon
Cumin.                                   Half table spoon
Salt.                                        To taste
Water.                                    1-2 Glasses
             Preparation for potato &loki vegetables
First take a fresh Loki.
Now Wash it properly.
Now Remove all skin of Loki.
Now cut it into small cubes.
Now wash again all cubes with fresh water.
Now put all fresh Loki cubes into a pot.
Now peel potatoes.
Now cut all potatoes into small cubes.
Wash all potatoes cubes &put them into a pot.
Now chopped tomatoes.

How to make gravey for Potatoes & Loki vegetable.


First take a medium onion and chopped it properly.
Now take 3 green chillies and cut them into small pieces.
Now take some corriender & some garlic first remove all skin of both.
Now cut both of them into small pieces.
Take a PAN& heat 50gm ghee or Refined or mustard oil.
Now Add some cumin.
Now add onion & cook it till golden colour.
Now add tomato & Ginger,garlic,green chillies paste.
Now cook it on medium flames.
Now add all Loki cubes into gravey.
Now add helf table spoon turmeric powder.
Now add salt into it.
Now mix all ingredients properly.
Now add  one glass of water.
Now cook it 10-12 minutes.
Serve hot.

In this post I will teach you how to make Indian tea at home step by step.
First put the tea pot at the  burner.
Now add some water and boil that till 2-3minutes.
Now add tea and boil again till its give colour.
Now add sugar and boil again.
Now add milk and boil 5-7minutes.
Now strain it
Serve hot.
